The Judge and His Daughter

A full-length play

A fictional conservative Supreme Court Justice whisks his climate-radicalist teen to an isolated camp in the Adirondacks when she is suspended from school for destroying the air conditioning system with a sledgehammer. While she waits out her suspension, the two try to “work on their relationship” under the guidance of the family psychologist. They begin to enjoy each other’s company, hiking, fishing, and hunting. But when the daughter discovers her father’s ulterior motive for bringing her there, the Judge is faced with the most important decision of his life: ideology or family?
