Dorothea is a wealthy divorcee in her 70s who has been living in isolation for decades. When a friend convinces her to underwrite a new dance troupe, she encounters Theo, a spirited young dancer. Theo befriends Thea and uses her mansion for elaborate performances and decadent parties. Dorothea is happier than ever. She feels young again and full of joy.
But when she gifts Theo the carriage house of her estate, her estranged son shows up to foil this tender friendship.
