It’s 1980 in rural Virginia and 15-year-old Louise is driving to Immaculate Conception Girls High School in her friend Marilee’s 1966 Candy Apple Red Mustang. They’re smoking cigarettes, saying the rosary, and talking about their escapades, including Louise’s ongoing trysts with 20-something-year-old Tim in the woods behind the strip mall.
